Interested in Innovative Technology?

Lightening talks image

Join us September 12th 11:45–12:45 as we kick off the Digital Futures Discovery Series, a year-long program led by Harvard’s Digital Futures Consortium (DFC). Held at the renovated Cabot Science Library’s new Discovery Bar, this series will be presenting the work of faculty, researchers, technologists, and librarians who are engaged in the ongoing transformation of scholarship through innovative technology. Speakers will come both from within and outside of the Harvard community.

Our first presentation is called All About Digital Futures, a play on words as members of the consortium give brief lightning talks on both past and future events. The DFC started in 2013 as a partnership between the Harvard Library and Harvard’s Arts & Humanities Research Computing group, and in 2017 the DFC was joined by Expanding the Boundaries of Authorship (EBoA), a group dedicated to integrating media into digital scholarship. Membership is drawn from across the Harvard community.

The Digital Futures Consortium is dedicated to sharing expertise across the global academic community, facilitating new forms and methods of research, and fostering collaborative projects that bring about field-changing developments in scholarship. Learn more about the DFC here.
